Assoc. Prof. Yan Pang
Guangzhou University, China

Yan Pang, Ph.D., serves as an Associate Professor at Guangzhou University after earning his doctoral degree from the University of Colorado, USA. Prior to his present position, he was an instructor at the Metropolitan State University of Denver and the University of Colorado Denver. His primary research revolves around computer vision, where he conducts systematic theoretical research and practical applications, particularly in computer vision, medical image analysis, on-device models, behavior recognition and analysis, blockchain, et al. Over the past two years, he has been granted 3 national and provincial-level projects. Dr. Pang has published more than 20 papers in SCI/SSCI indexed journals, including IEEE TMI, TNNLS, TIM, et.al, and 20 patents. His significant contributions have been applied practically in diverse sectors such as medicine, agriculture, and security, making a substantial impact in their intelligent evolution.

 

 

Assoc. Prof. Jinpeng Li
South China University of Technology, China

Jinpeng Li, IEEE Senior Member, Associate Professor at the School of Automation, South China University of Technology, and PhD advisor. His main research interests focus on AI and its applications in medicine. He obtained his PhD in 2019 from the National Key Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Over the past five years, he has been granted 6 national and provincial-level projects. He has published more than 60 papers in international journals and conferences, including TPAMI, TNNLS, TCYB, ACL, and MICCAI. He serves as a reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and journals such as TPAMI. His research projects include large-scale multimodal medical data analysis system, and motion function rehabilitation equipment based on brain-machine interfaces. He has won several awards in provincial and municipal innovation competitions.

 

 

Assoc. Prof. Zhengxia Wang
Hainan University, China

Zhengxia Wang received her B.S. degree from Chongqing Jiaotong University in 2001, respectively. She received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer software and theory from Chongqing University in 2004 and 2009, respectively. She is currently a professor master/doctoral supervisor of the School of Computer Science and Technology, Hainan University. She has published 30+ papers on Medical Image Analysis, MICCAI and other journal conferences. She also has resided and participated in a number of national and provincial projects. Her research interests include Machine learning, medical image processing and analysis.

 

 

Asst. Prof. Xi Zhang
Sun Yat-sen University, China

Xi Zhang obtained her doctoral degree in 2022 from the University of Colorado Boulder, USA. Dr. Zhang is currently an assistant professor at Sun Yat-sen University, China. Her primary research revolves around AI for arts, where she conducts systematic theoretical research and practical applications, particularly in generative art creation, music and sound composition, human pose estimation and human behavior recognition in artist and musical performance, et al. She has published more than 10 papers in international journals and conferences, and 5 patents.
