The 10th International Conference on Digital Image Processing was successfully held in East China Normal University, Shanghai, China during May 11-14, 2018. ICDIP 2018 is co-sponsored by Shanghai Key Laboratory of Multidimensional Information Processing and International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology, hosted by East China Normal University and technically assisted by many universities and institutes.

The conference was opened by Prof. Zhigao Hu, Deputy Dean of School of Information Science and Technology, East China Normal University and the conference chair Prof. Jenq-Neng Hwang from University of Washington, USA on May 12 morning, and then Prof. Osamu Matoba (Fellow of SPIE) from Kobe University, Japan, Prof. Xudong Jiang from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, Prof. Chin-Chen Chang (IEEE and IET Fellow) from Feng Chia University, Taiwan, China, Prof. Jamshid Dehmeshki from Kingston University, United Kingdom, Prof. Yuri Rzhanov from University of New Hampshire, United States, Prof. Dr. Ismail Rakip Karas from Karabük University, Turkey shared their keynote speeches with the delegates one after another.

The presentations were divided into 25 parallel sessions (24 oral presentation sessions and one poster session). Totally 9 best papers were selected.
