Special Session 11: AI based Image Detection and Content Security Technology

Description: This session explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and content security, with a particular focus on AI-driven innovations in image analysis, tamper detection, and trustworthy media technologies. As digital images and multimedia content become central to communication, verification, and decision-making across domains, ensuring their authenticity, integrity, and confidentiality is of critical importance. This session invites contributions addressing both fundamental research and real-world applications aimed at building secure, intelligent, and explainable image analysis systems. By fostering interdisciplinary discussions, the session seeks to promote progress in the secure use and management of visual data across fields such as digital forensics, media protection, and intelligent surveillance.

Lecturer Jiwei Zhang
Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China

Jiwei Zhang received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Technology from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications(BUPT). He now is a master's supervisor at BUPT. He has published over 50 articles in multiple international journals and conferences including TMM,TII,TITS,NeurIPS, AAAI,IJCAI. He has served as Area Chair/PC member for numerous leading conferences, including AAAI,IJCAI,ICLR,KDD,MM, and as Editor/young Editor for various journals, including Telecommunication Systems, DSM, JAICS, AIAS, Journal of Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications. He serves as the guest editor of IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics etc. His research interests include artificial intelligence, computer vision, and information security.

 

 

Asst. Prof. Ziyu Jia
Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China

Ziyu Jia is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on time-series analysis methods and their applications in health and medicine, including multimodal affective computing, sleep stage classification, and brain-computer interfaces. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers in venues such as IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, IEEE Transactions on Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering, KDD, and ICLR. Dr. Jia currently serves as an Associate Editor or Editorial Board Member for prestigious journals including IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing and Information Fusion, and he is an Area Chair for major AI and machine learning conferences such as IJCAI and IJCNN. In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Jia has extensive industry experience, having successfully led multiple R&D projects and secured several patents. He has received numerous honors, including the MSRA StarTrack Award, and the CIE Young Talent Award.

 



Dr. Haoyang Yu
China Mobile Internet Co., Ltd, China

Haoyang Yu received the Ph.D. degree in cyberspace security from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He is currently an Algorithm Engineer with China Mobile Internet Company Ltd., Guangzhou. His research area is content security, privacy computing, and computer vision.

 



Assoc. Prof. Hongtao Yang
Beijing Polytechnic College, China

Hongtao Yang is an Associate Professor of Artificial Intelligence at Beijing Polytechnic College and a core member of a national-level teaching team. He obtained his Master’s degree in Signal and Information Processing from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and his PhD in Communication and Information Systems from the State Key Laboratory of Media Convergence and Communication at the Communication University of China.His research interests include computational aesthetics, computer vision, artificial intelligence. He is also a core member of the Artificial Intelligence Technology Application Research Center at Beijing Polytechnic College. He has published more than 20 papers in leading academic journals and conferences across the fields of computer vision, image processing, artificial intelligence, and multimedia technology. He holds over 20 intellectual property rights, including national invention patents, utility model patents, and computer software copyrights. As first author, he has published three papers at premier international multimedia conferences, including ACM Multimedia (ACM MM, CCF-A) and ICME (CCF-B).He has led or participated in five national- and provincial-level research projects, three provincial-level and industry–academia collaborative projects (including those with iFLYTEK), and more than ten additional research initiatives. He is a Program Committee member of the ICSI 2024 Special Session on Swarm Intelligence Data Analysis and Security, and a reviewer for SCI journals such as CEE.
