The 9th International
Conference on Digital Image Processing was
successfully held in Regal Oriental Hotel, Hong Kong, China
on May 19 to 22. ICDIP 2017 is sponsored by
International Association of Computer Science and
Information Technology.

The conference was opened by the conference chair
Prof. Jiang Xudong from Nanyang Technological
University, Singapore on May 20 morning, and then
Prof. Chin-Chen Chang, (IEEE and IET Fellow) from
Feng Chia University, Taiwan, China, Prof. Changhuei Yang
(Coulter Fellow, AIMBE Fellow, OSA Fellow, and SPIE
Fellow) from California Institute of Technology,
USA, Prof. Yan Yang from Southwest Jiaotong
University, China, and Prof. Jamshid Dehmeshki from
Kingston University, United Kingdom shared their
keynote speech with the delegates one after another.
It's a pity that Prof. NGAN King Ngi and Prof.
Charles M. Falco can’t join us here due to health
issues.
The conference papers were divided into 17 parallel
sessions (15 oral presentation session and two
poster sessions), and 16 best presentation winners
were selected.
